Michaelle Boetger has a strong passion for the arts. Putting images and type together lead her to a career in graphic design. She’s been in the business since 1995 after obtaining her BFA degree in graphic design from the University of Iowa. She began her career working in the prepress department of a printing company in Des Moines, Iowa. After a few years gaining an understanding and knowledge of the printing process she moved on to a position as graphic designer and then senior graphic designer for a national manufacturing company. This position was part of their corporate communications department. It was in this position where she grew as a designer winning many ADDY Awards for her work as well as getting published for work she did as a freelance graphic designer.
She not only handled graphic design projects for this national company that included logo design, annual reports, brochures, national and local advertising, newsletters, corporate events, etc. but she was also the Printing Coordinator as well as the Photography Director. She stayed in this position for nine years before relocating to the northwest where she now focuses her time running her own visual communications firm. Her goal is to pleasantly surprise customers with the creativity they’d expect from a larger agency.
Michaelle Boetger Graphic Designs is set up and prepared to work with clients across the United States. Most communications can be done via email and the internet.
